To hell with iPhone, meet my new RoboPhone

I finally got myself a new toy. The Sony Ericsson W810i. It's pretty groovy, no pun intended, because it is one of Sony's Walkman branded phones. It's truely pathetic though when compared to an iPod. But I really have no intenton of using the music player. I just like the phone. It's small, very small, comfortable, fun, has great reception, and looks great.

So after 2.5 years I finally made the switch from Verizon over to Cingular. Yeah Verizon has great coverage and all, but their phones really suck. They cripple all the fun features, like Bluetooth OBEX file transfering, so that you have to pay them money in order to transfer any pictures or music and ringers that I'd like to put on to my Mac. Well Verizon, F-U! Because Cingular has fun phones, and I can transfer any media I want to and from my computer, wirelessly with Bluetooth. That's right, I paid for this thing, and now I get to use it the way I want to.

Although now that I'm on Cingular, I'm anticipating the early 2007 release of Apple's iPhone, which Cingular has an exclusinve deal to carry for the first 6 months of it's release. Yeah, I may just have to get another gadget fix in the next few months.

Here's one of a million artists' conceptual renderings of what the iPhone might look like. I kind of like this version. But I have faith that Apple will design it like ony Apple can.

I'm not a Scissor Sisters fan, until...

I tend to not always follow trends or like popular music groups until long after they've been recognized by the masses. Case in point is the Scissor Sisters. I just haven't clicked with them or found them interesting. That is until now...

As a kid in 1979, Buck Rogers starring Gil Gerard was one of my favirote TV shows. So it wasn't until I came across this hysterical merging of an old Buck Rogers episode, titled "Space Rockers", dubbed over with the latest Scissor Sisters hit, "I Don't Feel Like Dancing", that I've fallen in love with this song.
